SELECTION FOR JENESYS

Malvika Oberoi of Class X has been nominated by the Central Board of Secondary Eduction to visit Japan under the JENESYS 2011 (Japan East Asia Network of Exhchange for Students snd Youths Programme) 2011.

SCHOLARSHIP FOR HIGHER EDUCATION BY CBSE

Three students - Viditi Bharagava, Mohit Yadav and Viplove Rakehja have been selected for Scholarship for Higher Education (SHE) under innovation in Science Pursuit for Inspired Research (INSPIRE). This scholarship has been awarded by CBSE to those students who are within the to 1% of Class XII examination conducted by the Board during the academic session ending March/April 2011.

NATIONAL LEVEL POSITION IN MATH'S OLYMPIAD

Two of our students - Ridhima Gupta of Class IV and Mayank Sikka of Class X did the school proud by securing I and II position at the National level respectively in the National Maths Olympiad conducted by Jigsaw.

ACHIEVEMENT IN NTSE

Shambhavi Chowdhary of Class IX added another achievement to school’s glory by clearing the national level of National Talent Search Examination conducted by NCERT.

SELECTION AMONG THE FIRST 100 SCORERS OF DPS MATHS AND SCIENCE TALENT SEARCH EXAMINATION

Six students of our school appeared in the II round of DPS Maths and Science Talent Search Examination held at DPS Dwarka on 18th December 2011. Shambhavi Chowdhary of Class IX did the school proud by getting rank in the list of first 100 securing positions.

DISTRICT LEVEL SCIENCE ESSAY WRITING COMPETITION

Our school participated in District Level On the Spot Science Essay Writing Competition on 15th September 2011 at Saini Senior Secondary School, Rewari.

I RUNNER UP POSITION IN DISTRICT LEVEL SCIENCE QUIZ

Our school quiz team did the school proud by securing I Runner up position in District level Science Quiz organized by DoE, Haryana at Uma Bharti Public School, Rewari on 5th September 2011.

II RUNNER UP IN INTER DPS CRICKET TOURNAMENT

The School Cricket Team won II Runner up position in the Inter DPS Cricket Tournament held at Yamunanagar from 19 to 21 October 2011. Three of our students also won Man of the Match trophy.

FOUR STUDENTS CLEARED II ROUND OF NSTSE

Three students of Class XII – Stuti Chowdhary, Mayank Sikka and Preeti Choudhary and one student of Class X- Shambhavi Choudhary did the school proud by clearing the second round of NSTSE conducted by Unified Council. Stuti Chowdhary and Shambhavi Chowdhary were declared as National Toppers and made place in the list of first 100 toppers at national level. Preeti Choudhary and Mayank Sikka secured II and III positions respectively at the state level.

OPEN INTERNATIONAL TAEKWONDO TOURNAMENT

Ten students from our school participated in the Open International Taekwondo Tournament held at Muktsar (Punjab) from 18 April to 20 April 2001. Our students won two gold medals, five silver medals and one bronze medals.

3rd POSITION IN ANNUAL INTER DPS ENGLISH DEBATE

Debating in school encourages critical and analytical thinking among students. It enables the speaker to distinguish facts from opinions and fosters good enunciation, diction and communication skills. In the Inter DPS English Debate held at DPS Ambala on 14 May 2011, Parul Dhawan of Class XI did the school proud by securing III position.

1st POSITION IN INTER - SCHOOL MATHEMATICS QUIZ

Our Mathematics Quiz Team did the school proud by winning First position in the Inter-School Mathematics Quiz held at Somany Vidyapeeth, Rewari on July 16, 2011.
